# sk181438 - SIC between the Primary Multi-Domain Server and Secondary Servers lost - cannot re-establish SIC (initial synchronization fails)

## Symptoms

- * The SIC between the Primary Multi-Domain Server and Secondary Multi-Domain Server/Log Servers is lost unexpectedly and with no specific trigger.

  Reinitialization of SIC succeeds, but the SIC is not restored and "*no communication*" message is shown.

* *$FWDIR/log/fwm.elg* on the Secondary Multi-Domain Server (on the Domain Management Server) shows:   


  *setLicRes: Cannot add license return code to lic Sign {
  LICENSE 29Mar2023 CPSM-C-U CPSB-NPM CPSB-EPM CPSB-LOGS CPSB-MNTR CPSB-PRVS CPSB-UDIR CPSB-WKFL-100 CPSB-WS CPSB-MPTL CPVP-SNX-U-NGX CPSB-SWB CPSB-ADNC-M CPSB-RPRT-U CPSB-EVCR-U CPSB-SSLVPN-MOBMAIL+5000 CPSB-COMP-150 CK-4A8AEFA58586 }= xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Index=0 Version=0 , too many licenses (Example license)*.

## Cause

The `cp.licenses` file on the Domain Management Server has too many licenses. This overwhelms the initial synchronization performed after SIC reinitialization.
