# sk181432 - Unable to attach license to NSX-T Gateway using "vsec_lic_cli"

## Symptoms

- The license was successfully linked to the Central License Manager (`vsec_lic_cli`) using the management IP address. But the specific gateway in question does not show as a subscribed gateway within the license manager. Consequently, the license remains unattached to the gateway.

## Cause

The hardware configuration within the properties of the gateway object has not been accurately selected.
