* After you "Update Now" after put the upgrade package/*cp_offline_update.cppol* file to the Upgrades/Updates folder, the Endpoint Client upgrade does not start.

## Cause

The FDE service stopped working because of the issue with the crypto module when trying to encrypt.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:

* [Enterprise Endpoint Security E86.20 Windows Clients](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk176853)

However, on the Endpoint Clients that already have this issue, perform the below procedure:

1. Recreate the *cp_offline_install.cppol* file from SmartEndpoint:
   Go to Users and Computers tab \> select the offline group and right-click it, Software Deployment \> Get Initial Package, and place *cp_offline_install.cppol* to the below folder.

   Note: if there is still *cp_offline_update.cppol* in this folder, delete it
   *C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CheckPoint\\Endpoint Security\\Endpoint Common\\Work*

2. Confirm that the *cp_offline_install.cppol* file is deleted.

3. After a while, the message of Endpoint Security Client Upgrade schedule is shown in Endpoint Client and the upgrade will proceed automatically.

   Note: If the upgrade does not start, click "Upgrade Now" in Endpoint Cleint.
