# sk181174 - "Internal error" in Web SmartConsole when publishing the session after changing interface settings in a new cluster object

## Symptoms

- Description of the issue:

1. The user created a new cluster object in SmartConsole.
2. The user changed interface settings on cluster members in Gaia Portal.
3. In SmartConsole \> cluster object, the user clicked **Get Interfaces** (and then one of the topology option) to get the interface changes.
4. The user edited the interface settings in the cluster object, for example, configured a Virtual IP address or changed the Topology settings.
5. The user clicked OK to close the cluster object.
6. The user clicked **Publish**.
7. Web SmartConsole showed this popup:  
   `Publish Failed`  
   `
   Internal Error`
