# sk181145 - SNMP queries for specific OIDs do not show results

## Symptoms

- * SNMP queries for specific OIDs do not return anything, and more queries are not possible until you restart the SNMPD process.

* Some queries for OIDs return this output:   
  "`Timeout: No Response from localhost`"

## Cause

SNMPv1 does **not** support Counter64. Counter64 is not part of the SNMPv1 protocol. It is not possible, in Scalable Platforms, to query some OIDs through SNMPv1.
