# sk181081 - After auto-cloning a Security Group Member, Maestro and IPS files are removed, and the member stays in the DOWN state

## Symptoms

- * After you add a new Security Group Member (SGM) to a Maestro Security Group, the new SGM stays in the `DOWN` state, with an AMW or a Configuration pnote (Critical Device).

  Notes:
  * The image-auto clone feature is enabled on the Maestro Security Group.
  * The IPS Software Blade is enabled on the Security Gateway or the Virtual System (VS).
* The `ips/update/cur` folder does not exist, and each VS has a different path. 


  For VS2, it must be `/opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/CTX/CTX00002/ips/update/cur`.

* FWD core dump files might be created.

* The `Configuration_reboot_reason.log` shows this output:

  /opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/CTX/CTX00002/conf/pep_conciliation_scores.C
  `

* The `#cphaprob list` command shows, below the FWD pnote (Critical Device), that some VSs are down.
