# sk181070 - ChatGPT does not work when HTTPS Inspection is enabled

## Symptoms

- When you enable HTTPS Inspection on a Security Gateway, one or more of the following occurs:

* You enter prompts and questions into `chat.openai.com`, and the response is:  
  `Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com`.
* Prompts and questions cause "`First Packet Isn't SYN`" drops.
* You are denied access to the webpage.

## Solution

1. Use the predefined ChatGPT application signature. The predefined ChatGPT application requires that the Application Control Blade be enabled.  

2. Make sure the Trusted CA list includes the HTTPS inspection Certificate Authority (CA).

> If the following error (or an equivalent error) appears:
> `You cannot visit chat.openai.com right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later`   
>
> Then make sure the HTTPS Inspection certificate is in the Trusted CA list. Go to:
> **Manage \& Settings** \> **HTTPS Inspection** \> **Configure in SmartDashboard** \> **Trusted CAs** \> **Actions** \> **Import Outbound Certificate** ...   
>
