## Symptoms

- Not possible to delete an IoT Policy Layer in SmartConsole.

## Cause

To improve the User Experience (UX) for IoT users, editing and deleting IoT components in SmartConsole is restricted. You can delete or edit IoT components only from the CloudGuard WAF console.

All objects are deleted when you disable IoT in Infinity Portal.
