# sk180937 - Saving policy fails in WebUI for on-premises Endpoint Security Management Server

## Symptoms

- * Policy installation fails in WebUI for on-premises Endpoint Security Management Server.  

* Docker logs in *$UEPMDIR/logs/docker_logs/backend_web_mgmt_sillyXXXX.log* show:   
  `[error] [RestAdapter.publishSession] Failed to publish CPM session with error 'Failed to publish session - Publish cannot be performed without entering a session name and description.'`

## Cause

In SmartConsole \> **Manage \& Settings** \> **Sessions** \> **Advanced** , the **All sessions must have a description** checkbox causes problems with policy installation.
