# sk180870 - When using DHCP to connect to an appliance via Zero Touch to install a new image, the DHCP configuration does not survive the reboot after the installation

## Cause

Due to security reasons, DHCP is disabled by default on a newly configured appliance.

When using Zero Touch, we can initially use DHCP to connect the appliance to Check Point's Cloud Services, but DHCP is disabled after completing the installation.
