# sk180856 - Primary up cluster running with PIM Dense mode does not send "State-refresh" after failing back

## Symptoms

- * The active member does not send "State-refresh" after recovering from a failover.

* Running the command "`show pim timers`" shows "State refresh timer is inactive."

* Disabling and re-enabling "State-refresh" solves the issue.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.
