# sk180740 - DHCP server stops leasing IP addresses on Spark Firewall with the error "no free leases"

## Symptoms

- * There are many errors system logs for:

  `DHCPDISCOVER from bc:6c:21:cc:07:6d via LAN3: network 192.168.16.0/24: no free leases`
* There are no leases in */var/dhcpd.leases.interface_Name*.

* Issue still persists after following instructions in

## Cause

A network object that has "exclude from DHCP service" with the client network prevents the DHCP Server from leasing out IP addresses.
