## Symptoms

- After you edit a VS object and click on **OK** in SmartConsole, this server error appears:

failed to save object <domain name>. Server error in field 'interfaces' of element #1 at object 'VS_name' @ 'Network Objects' --> Validation error in field 'security' --> Validation error in field 'Specific network behind this internal interface' --> The referenced object 'VS_name_<interface name>' from table 'Network objects' does not exist in database (Code: 0x800415B1, Object contain invalid reference)

The database on the Security Management Server is missing the interface object "VS_name_\<nterface name\>" under **Network objects** .
