# sk180678 - Improved Multi-Queue distribution of IPsec SPI traffic

## Symptoms

- VPN performance issues on the Security Gateway when the VPN traffic passes through interfaces that use the IGB driver or the IXGBE driver:

* Latency and traffic loss on the interfaces.

* RX drops on the interfaces.

## Cause

The IGB and IXGBE drivers do not support balancing of IPsec SPI (Security Parameter Indexes).

Check Point supports VPN configuration on interfaces that use the IGB and IXGBE drivers, but does **not** recommend it.
