## Symptoms

- * Users experience various issues when connecting from internal network to HTTPS web sites on the Internet through the Security Gateway with HTTPS Inspection enabled.

  HTTPS web sites do not open at all, or some page elements are not displayed.
* Web browser shows the message "`Potential Security Risk Ahead`" with the error code "`SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER`".

  The Security Gateway log in SmartConsole shows:

  Blade - HTTPS Inspection  

  HTTPS Validation - Untrusted Certificate  

  Action - Detect
* Web browser shows the message "`Secure Connection Failed`" with the error code "`PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR`".

  The Security Gateway log in SmartConsole shows:

  Blade - HTTPS Inspection  

  HTTPS Validation - Untrusted Certificate  

  Action - Reject
* The Security Gateway does not categorize the HTTPS traffic when the URL Filtering Software Blade is enabled.

  The Security Gateway log in SmartConsole shows:

  Blade - HTTPS Inspection  

  Primary Category - Uncategorized  

  Action - HTTPS Inspect

## Cause

In rare scenarios, some of the trusted CA certificates become disabled in the Management Server database.
