# sk180484 - Cluster in Load Sharing mode drops traffic intermittently

## Symptoms

- * Connections stop passing intermittently through a Cluster in Load Sharing mode.

* Connections pass as expected through the same Cluster when it is configured in the High Availability mode.

* Kernel debug on the Cluster Members "`fw ctl zdebug + drop`" shows that the cluster drops the connections with:

  "`fwmultik_process_f2p_cookie_inner Reason: PSL Drop: No connection`".

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:

1. [CPinfo](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92739) file from the Management Server involved in the case.
2. [CPinfo](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92739) file from each Cluster Member involved in the case.

After hotfix is installed. Set the kernel parameter 'cphwd_pslglue_delete_conn_on_missing_opaque' to '1':  

`# fw ctl set int `cphwd_pslglue_delete_conn_on_missing_opaque` 1 `

For the change to survive a reboot, add the following line to $FWDIR/boot/modules/fwkern.conf:  

`cphwd_pslglue_delete_conn_on_missing_opaque=1`
