# sk180392 -  Policy Decision Point (PDP) Gateway does not match users from Identity Collector to groups

## Symptoms

- * Users with identities collected by Identity Collector cannot access resources with access privileges defined for a group.
* The Policy Decision Point (PDP) Identity Awareness Gateway identifies user identities from Identity Collector but does not match identities to groups.
* SmartView Tracker logs show "*Failed login*" for users who try to authenticate against the Active Directory (AD) Server.
* In CPView,values for Identity Awareness LDAP queries, the successful LDAP Queries counter does not increase. The unsuccessful LDAP Queries counter increases.
* Debug of the PDP daemon (`pdp debug set all all`) shows: SDK Response code = `49`, message = `Invalid credentials` , Error Message = `80090308...`.

## Cause

The username, password, or distinguished name (DN) is incorrect for the Domain Administrator account configured in SmartConsole for the LDAP Account Unit used to access the Domain Controller.
