# sk180345 - Error: Harmony Endpoint failed to send register message to the server. Contact your administrator

## Symptoms

- * Error: *Harmony Endpoint failed to send register message to the server. Contact your administrator*
* During the Endpoint client installation , the client failed to register to the Harmony Endpoint cloud server.
* *C:\\ProgramData\\CheckPoint\\Logs\\cpda.log shows following error:
  \[debug\] verify error=19(self signed certificate in certificate chain) depth=3 \[verificationCallback\]
  \[debug\] --\> Subject -\> Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority. \[CoreCommon::CPVerifier::PrintCertToLog\]
  \[debug\] --\> Issuer -\> Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority. \[CoreCommon::CPVerifier::PrintCertToLog\]
  \[debug\] --\> valid from 2004-06-30 00:06 to 2034-06-30 00:06 (now 2022-09-20 12:25). \[CoreCommon::CPVerifier::PrintCertToLog\]
  ...
  \[error\] Failed curl_perform, error: 60 (== SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK), decription 'SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain' \[CHTTPCall_curl::sendReq_internal\]*

## Cause

The verification procedure changed starting from **86.20 and higher**.

## Solution

You must make sure that the **Local Machine** (computer) certificates are deployed. If they are not deployed, then manually export them from the computer that has them (the connected computer) to the disconnected computer. A different option is download the certificates from Go daddy.  

**Option 1:**   
Download the necessary certificates the official GoDaddy site.  

**Option 2:**   
Export the necessary certificates from the connected computer and install on the disconnected computer.  

1. On the connected computer, open the Windows Certificate Manager as administrator.
2. Open **Local Computer Certificates** (*certlm.msc* ) \> select **Trusted Root Certification Authorities** \> **Certificates**.
3. Export these certificates to the disconnected computer.

  * Go daddy class 2 certification authority
  * **Go daddy root certificate authority - G2**

4. Open certlm.msc \> Certificates - Local Computer.Intermediate certificate authority \> Certificates
5. Export this certificate to the disconnected computer.  
   > *Go daddy secure certificate authority - G2*

   **Note -**It may be necessary to reboot the computer after you deploy the certificates.
