# sk180336 - "Issued To"  and "Issued By" fields in the CA certificate configured for HTTPS Inspection are identical

## Symptoms

- * In the browser of the client, the "Issued By" and the "Issued To" fields in certificate used for HTTPS Inspection are identical when connection is marked as "Not Secure". Both "Issued By" and "Issued to" fields contain the Security Gateway certificate information, which only the "Issued by" field should contain.

* The outbound certificate used in the "HTTPS Inspection" policy is not the "Outbound Certificate" configured in the Security Gateway object in SmartConsole.

## Cause

The certificate used for the outbound inspection in the "HTTPS Inspection" policy is the one created for the inbound inspection.  

To find the Security Gateway's inbound certificate:  
Go to**SmartConsole** \> **Manage \& Settings** \> **Blades** \> **HTTPS Inspection \[Configure in SmartDashboard...\]** \> In **SmartDashboard** click **Server Certificates** .  

To find the Security Gateway's outbound certificate:  
Go to the Security Gateway object in SmartConsole \> **HTTPS Inspection** \>**View certificate**.

## Solution

1. Go to**SmartConsole** \> **Security Policies** \> **HTTPS Inspection** \> **Policy \>** **Certificate** column.  

2. Change inbound inspection certificate to outbound inspection certificate ("Outbound Certificate"), which is the one you created/imported in "HTTP Inspection" section of the Security Gateway object .  

3. Install policy on the Security Gateway.
