# sk180281 - IKEv2 with 3rd party fails when Check Point initiate the tunnel

## Symptoms

- * When initiating IKEv2 tunnel from Check point to 3rd party, creating Child SA fails.
* The *vpnd.elg* file shows:  
  `[vpnd PID ...]@Host[DATE TIME][ikev2] ikecrypt_decrypt: decrypted. padlen=4294967239, resulting bytes=488`  
  `[vpnd PID ...]@Host[DATE TIME][ikev2] decryptMessage: Result has 488 bytes <br>`  
  `[vpnd PID ...]@Host[DATE TIME][ikev2] Message::decodeAllPayloads: Not enough data in buffer for header of payload 1 (Nonce)`  
  `[vpnd PID ...]@Host[DATE TIME][ikev2] Message::Decode: Not all payloads were successfully decoded`  
  `[vpnd PID ...]@Host[DATE TIME][ikev2] Exchange::parseAndDecodeMessage: Failed to decode reply msg. `
