## Symptoms

- * Harmony Mobile Protect App is consuming high battery and resources

## Cause

Battery consumption is an elusive matter, which is affected by many factors, such as:  

* Apps installed
* Device specifications
* Device age
* Charger used and so on

## Solution

Follow these steps before you contact Check Point support:  

1. Ensure that you have the latest version of the Harmony Mobile Protect App installed.
2. Charge the mobile device to 100% battery.
3. Use the mobile device with Harmony Mobile enabled for a full day until the battery is reduced to 20%-30%.
4. Take a screenshot of the battery consumption screen.
5. Take a screenshot of the memory consumption screen.
6. Collect device logs as per [sk174227.](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk174227&partition=Advanced&product=Harmony)
7. (Optional) Delete the Harmony Mobile Protect App from the mobile device and monitor the battery and memory consumption.
