## Symptoms

- * When you upgrade a VSX Gateway or cluster with a non-DMI link, the upgrade stays stuck on step 10/10 at the 5% mark.

* The "`vsx stat -v`" command on the VSX Gateway shows "`Unknown`" in all columns for the Virtual Systems and the Virtual Switch.

* The "`tcpdump`" command on the outgoing interface on the Virtual Switch shows incoming traffic from the Security Management Server. There are no replies from the VS0.

* The "`tcpdump`" command on the wrpj link on the Virtual Switch or the wrp interface on the Virtual System may show that the Virtual System is replying.

* When you run the "`run vsx_util reconfigure`" command on version R80.30, the upgrade completes successfully, but it fails when you run it on version R80.40.
