# sk180119 - The "fwm mds" or "fwm" process crashes with a 4GB core dump file

## Symptoms

- * The */var/log/dump/usermode/* directory on the Management Server contains core dump files for the "fwm mds" process or "fwm" process.

* The size of the core dump file after extracting from the .gz archive is 4 GB.

## Cause

Memory leak in the FWM daemon.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
