# sk180093 - Security Gateway Members are not updated with a Private Threat Cloud appliance

## Symptoms

- * Security Gateway Members (SGMs) are not updated when you use a Private Threat Cloud (PTC) appliance.

* The "`asg diag verify`" command shows that the hosts file on all SGMs but the Single Management Object (SMO) are not updated with the IP addresses of the PTC.

* After you reboot the appliance, the hosts file is updated correctly. When the SGMs (all but the SMO) connect to the PTC, this error occurs:

  `Could not establish SSL connection to "updates.checkpoint.com". Problem with local certificate.`
* All SGMs but the SMO do not have the PTC certificate.
