## Symptoms

- Security Gateway with HTTPS Inspection enabled does not create logs for HTTPS connections from clients that did not install the Check Point HTTPS Inspection CA certificate.

## Cause

In the Check Point `cptls` flow, compared to the `tlsio` flow, the Security Gateway handles alert messages differently during the SSL handshake phase. Therefore, in TLS 1.3, the Security Gateway does not use the old mechanism which supports the TLS alert log and provides the same troubleshoot logs.

The same applies to the TLS event logs.
