# sk179919 - High CPU utilization with large volume of SQLNET2 traffic

## Symptoms

- * A Security Gateway / Cluster performs slowly with high CPU usage..
* The Security Gateway / Cluster does not accelerate traffic that is sent through the SQLNET2 protocol handler.
* `fw tab -t connections -z` shows that many slow path connections use the SQLNET2 protocol handler. Output shows "`Not offloaded reason`" as "`Inspect handler`".

## Cause

Traffic sent through the SQLNET2 protocol hander goes through the slow path. The high volume of F2F traffic causes high CPU usage on the Security Gateway or Cluster.
