## Symptoms

- In R81.10 SmartConsole \> "Gateways \& Servers" search option, you can only find objects by their primary IP addresses and not the addresses of other interfaces (the addresses of other interfaces are visible in the "Network Topology" list of the object).

## Cause

It is due to a design issue since R81.10.

There is currently a (not desired) degradation in the functionality of the SmartConsole search in the "Gateways \& Servers" section.

Until this version (R81.10), it was an option to search and find objects using not only their "main" (Primary) IP address but using the IP addresses of other interfaces as well (which are visible in the "Network Topology" list of the object).

Since R81.10, it is not available anymore.

<br />

**For example:**

Your "Gateways \& Servers" object (no matter which kind) has the main IP of 10.0.0.1 and has another interface with 192.168.0.1.

In R81.10, in the search bar of the "Gateways \& Servers" section, you can only find this object using its main IP address (10.0.0.1), but not the IP of the other interface (192.168.0.1).

In other versions, you can also find the object using all other IP addresses.
