# sk179812 - After an upgrade of a Threat Extraction Security Gateway, all links to original attached files become expired

## Symptoms

- * After an upgrade of a Threat Extraction Security Gateway, all download links (that appear in emails received before the upgrade) to original attached files become expired.

  When users click these links, the UserCheck page shows:

  *The notification page has expired. You can safely close the page.*
* Threat Extraction configuration in SmartConsole:

  1. From the left navigation panel, click "Security Policies".
  2. In the "Custom Policy Tools" section, click "Profiles".
  3. Right-click the applicable profile and select "Edit".
  4. In the left pane navigation tree, go to "Threat Extraction" \> "General".
  5. Select "Allow the user to access the original file".

## Cause

During an upgrade, UserCheck incorrectly deletes the SQL table "UC_INCIDENTS".

This issue occurs only on a single Security Gateway, or on a StandAlone (in a cluster, this SQL table is synchronized and is not lost).
