# sk179702 - CloudGuard CME instance creation fails with: "Multiple objects have the same IP address "

## Symptoms

- * CloudGuard CME instance creation in SmartConsole fails, although autoprov-cfg configuration is correct and tags match with the ASG, VMSS, or MIG.

* Similar errors are found in the */var/log/CPcme/cme.log* file:

* There is connectivity from the Management Server to the Cloud Platform via the commands from [sk115657](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk115657), and running '`#service cme test`' passes the test successfully.

## Cause

A duplicate host object exists in the database.
