## Symptoms

- * BitLocker encryption is detected as malicious and blocked by the Anti-Ransomware blade.
* The detected protection name is: "ransomware.win.bitlockerransom.b" (see Forensics report for the detected protection name).
* BitLocker encryption protection was enabled on E86.50 version or higher with "Anti-Ransomware, Behavioral Guard and Forensics" blade installed.

## Cause

Anti-Ransomware:   
AHTP-24319 -"Block BitLocker Encryption" is now on by default, which blocks any BitLocker encryption attempt to prevent attackers from the use of BitLocker to encrypt the disk.
