# sk179429 - Spark Firewall generates logs showing mismatched origin, policy name, and layer name

## Symptoms

- * In Quantum Spark appliances, logs show information from policies and layers which are not relevant to the origin.

* Viewing the raw log shows the "wrong" updates.

## Cause

When Quantum Spark Security Gateways which share an identical internal IP address send logs to the same Management Server at the very same time (in second-level), then the logs may be unified.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.  
For faster resolution and verification, collect [CPinfo](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92739) files from the Management Server and Security Gateways / Cluster Members involved in the case.
