|----------|-------|
| Solution ID | sk178826 |
| Date Created | 2022-04-22 |
| Last Modified | 2022-04-26 |
| Technical Level | Advanced |
| Products | Security Management Server |
| Versions | R82.10, R82, R81.20, R82.20 |

## Symptoms

- * The "*log_indexes*" file is created even though you disabled log indexing.

* The *$CPDIR/registry/HKLM_registry.data* file on the Security Management Server, in which SmartLog should be disabled, shows that SmartLog is enabled.

## Cause

The file *$CPDIR/registry/HKLM_registry.data* was not updated.

The "ProdActive" attribute for SmartLog is set to "ProdActive (1)":

```
$CPDIR/registry/HKLM_registry.data
...
: (SmartLog
	:CurrentVersion (6.0)
	: (6.0
		:CurrentLabel (R80.30)
		:CurrentSP (5)
		:SMARTLOGDIR ("/opt/CPSmartLog-R80.30")
		:PRODDIR ("/opt/CPSmartLog-R80.30")
		:AutoStart (1)
		:IsConfigured (1)
		:ProdActive (1)
		:ENV_NAME (SMARTLOGDIR)
		: (SP5
			:CurrentMSP (0)
			: (MSP0
				:SilentUninstall ("rpm -e CPSmartLog-R80.30")
			)
		)
		: (HotFixes
			:HOTFIX_R80_30_JUMBO_HF_MAIN (1)
		)
