## Symptoms

- After installing the FDE blade on a Dell Inc. System Model: Latitude 5520 with SED, the M.2 SSD disk requires a password for accessing it.

## Solution

This is not a Check Point issue.   
The FDE blade initializes successfully and takes ownership of the SED without any errors.   
It creates public ranges that are accessible without a PIN.  
A specific Dell UEFI implementation requires the PIN.  

As a workaround, disable the SED and encrypted the disk with Check Point's BitLocker encryption.
