# sk178644 - Machine authentication pre-login tunnel on Endpoint Client E86.10 & E86.20

## Symptoms

- * After updating to version E86.10 or E86.20, and while using machine authentication, the Pre-login VPN tunnel fails to establish.
* The display name for the VPN Site includes space characters, for example: "Check Point VPN Site."

## Cause

When the site's display name has spaces, the gateway reads it only until the first space character. For example, the gateway receives a VPN Site with the display name "CheckPoint VPN Site" as "CheckPoint" only. This phenomenon causes the establishment of the tunnel which uses Machine Authentication to fail.
