# sk178506 - "SmartView server certificate is invalid" message appears when opening new tab under Logs&Monitor

## Symptoms

- * When opening a new Logs \& Monitor tab, this message appears:
  "*SmartView is not available. SmartView server certificate is invalid.*"

* The client displays one certificate and the server displays another one.

## Cause

This can be due to a 'man in the middle' situation where the client display one certificate and the server display another one.
