## Symptoms

- The Threat Emulation local database (*$FWDIR/conf/te_local_db*) becomes very big (over 2GB). The database is on root partition and it might become full.

## Cause

The reports of the scanned malicious files are stored in the database (with TTL). When many malicious files are scanned, the database might becomes too big.
This can happen, for example, when using Picus to continuously test if malicious files can pass from the server to the client, therefore passing many malicious files through the gateway intentionally.
