# sk177812 - How to enable the clone button in Spark Firewall objects in SmartConsole

## Solution

**Note** - This solution is only for these appliance models:  

* 1530
* 1550
* 1570
* 1590

To enable the **Clone...** button for Quantum Spark appliances, you must add a Windows User or System **Variable**:

1. In the WebUI, navigate to **System** \> **Advanced System Settings** \> **Environment Variables**.
2. Create a new User or System Variable:

   Variable name: *CloneSMBGwEnable*  
   Variable value: *1*

   Click **OK**.
3. After you set the value, restart SmartConsole if it was open.  
   The **Clone...** button is enabled:

4. The required values to generate a new Security Gateway are the **Name** and **IP**:

   Click **OK**.
