## Symptoms

- * NSX-T Security Gateway crashes during boot when interfaces are connected.

* Vmcore dump is occasionally created during the crash.

* Booting with the interfaces detached allows the gateway to boot up normally.

## Cause

When the VM boots up, a race condition occurs where the Security Gateway receive packets before it is ready to handle them.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Jumbo_HFA/R81.10/Default.htm) starting from Take 61

If you choose not to upgrade, boot up the VM with the interfaces disconnected and attach them after the boot up.
