## Symptoms

- For a Security Gateway or Cluster version R80.40 and higher, users cannot connect to a Bridge IP address after they run a `cpstop` or `fw unloadlocal`.

## Cause

For a Security Gateway or Cluster versions 80.40 and higher running kernel 3.10, Bridge Forwarding is disabled by default after users run a `cpstop` or `fw unloadlocal` command.
