# sk177368 - "Arg_NullReferenceException" error message when trying to connect with Capsule VPN plugin for Windows 10/11.

## Symptoms

- Capsule VPN plugin for Windows 10/11 shows "Arg_NullReferenceException" error message when user tries to connect to R77.20/R77.30.

## Cause

Capsule VPN plugin for Windows 10/11 version 1.0.16.0 had a bug which prevented it from connecting to Security Gateways or SMB devices running R77.20/R77.30 Gaia operating systems. Those systems do not support multiple login options and that made Capsule VPN fail with "Arg_NullReferenceException" error message.

## Solution

Upgrade Capsule VPN plugin from Microsoft Store up to version 1.0.17.0 or higher
