# sk177125 - Traffic bandwidth/download speed is very low when Endpoint Clients are connected to VPN

## Symptoms

- * Traffic download speed is significantly low in Endpoint clients, regardless of version.
* There is no connectivity issue with the site.
* Traffic slowness is observed both when connecting to the internet or to internal resources through VPN.
* Once an EndPoint client is disconnected from VPN, the internet traffic speed issue is resolved.
* Bandwidth is significantly impacted. For example, in a 40Mbps connection, client enjoys only a 5-10 Mbps download speed during speed test.

## Cause

In an Endpoint client, logging level is set to "Extended", which significantly impacts performance.
