# sk177050 - Remote Access client for macOS does not allow special characters in password field

## Symptoms

- Cannot type specials characters (i.e. �, \`, \^) in password field on Remote Access client for macOS using the non-English keyboard layout.

## Cause

Code limitation in external UI library which makes the client incorrectly process user input.

## Solution

This is by design.   
These characters are not supported in password fields in the "Connect" dialog on macOS.
