## Symptoms

- * Active Directory content is not scanned when using Full Scan in Web Console of Endpoint cloud server.

* In %ProgramData%\\CheckPoint\\Logs\\cpda.log the following error can be seen:  

  ```
  
  DATE TIME root [error] Failed to XML parse response [CRecMessage::putSerialized]
  DATE TIME root [error] Invalid response. Response (possible truncated)
  DATE TIME root [error] Failed to send GET_DS_CONFIG message (or problem with response)[CDAProtocol::sendGetDSConfigRequest]
  ```

## Cause

The following characters used in a password of a user that is set to scan AD contents in Web Console, are not correctly parsed:  
\<, \>, \&, ', ", \\, /
