## Symptoms

- * On the client side of an SNX connection, SNX fails after users click **approve** with error message: "`Error - Cannot establish connection to SSL network extender gateway, try to reconnect.`"
* The SNX failure occurs after an administrator changed the certificate for Mobile Access Blade. Mobile Access Blade is configured to use FQDN.
* This output appears in the slimscv.log file:

  ```
  [slim_utils] RaisDbGetValue: Successfully read (REG_SZ) key -Fingerprint- with value [new gateway fingerprint]
  [verify_CN] lookup_gw: Fingerprints match [new gateway fingerprint]
  [ssl_tunnel] ssl_link_fwasync_client_handler: (termination code #303) Gateway was successfully verified by the user. Proceeding with connect...
  [ssl_tunnel] ssl_link_fwasync_client_handler: server_fingerprint_for_verification = [old gateway fingerprint] does not match gw_fingerprint = [new gateway fingerprint]
  ```

* vpn.elg log might show:

  ```
  [vpnd 18980 4074596288]@fw11[3 Apr 15:56:15][CPTLS] cptls_hs_print_alert: alert level: CPTLS_fatal, description: unknown_ca(48).
