## Symptoms

- * Traffic sent from a specific Security Group Member to a host does not get a response from that host.

* ARP inconsistency messages shown when running asg diagnostics (asg_arp -v).
* Output of the "`arp -a`" command on the problematic Security Group Member does not show the MAC address of the destination host.

* Configuring a static ARP entry for the MAC address and IP address of the destination host on the problematic Security Group Member resolves the issue.

* ARP debug on the problematic Security Group Member during the issue shows these lines:

  ```
  dump_error_if_from_fwd_token: looking for ifn of X.X.X.X
  dump_error_if_from_fwd_token: Interface was not found, returning -1
  fwha_arp_ccp_reply_or_garp_process: Can't translate interface token type 1 key X.X.X.X;
  ```
