# sk176868 - Spark Firewall shows "Drop" Security Logs with the message "Missing OS Route"

## Symptoms

- Dropped Security Logs on Quantum Spark Appliances seen with message "*Missing OS Route*."

## Cause

The packets are dropped because there is no PIM/IGMP configuration on the Security Gateway. As a result, there is no defined outbound interface through which to forward the packets.

## Solution

This is expected behavior when PIM/IGMP is not configured on the Security Gateway, and does not affect overall functionality.

If PIM/IGMP is not required, you can safely suppress these logs.   

Run this command in Expert mode:

`fw ctl set int fw_log_missing_route_packet 0`
