# sk176844 - "Local interface address spoofing" - In Full High Availability Cluster, Standby Cluster Member drops traffic from Virtual IP Address

## Symptoms

- * In a Full High Availability Cluster environment, traffic from a virtual IP address is dropped on the Standby Cluster Member.
* This error message appears in the logs of the Standby Cluster Member: "*TCP/8211 Traffic Dropped from x.x.x.x to y.y.y.y'... local interface address spoofing* " (*x.x.x.x* : standby gateway IP address, *y.y.y.y*: virtual IP address)
* Restarting the Standby Cluster Member temporarily improves the issue, but the issue re-occurs after policy installation.

## Cause

Users did not use the Cluster Wizard to configure the Full High Availability Cluster for the first time. Instead, users configured the Full High Availability Cluster manually.
