# sk176784 - Search in rulebase shows wrong total number of displayed rules

## Symptoms

- In a Multi-Domain environment, a search in rule base may show a bigger total number of rules found than the actual number of displayed rules.

## Cause

The search will show a total number of matched rules in all policy packages with the Global layer on this DMS if the Global layer is used.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
