## Symptoms

- Gaia Clish (gClish) does not work for RADIUS users: "`Unable to get user permissions.`"

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk175186) starting from Take 38
* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk170114) starting from Take 60

If you choose not to upgrade:
1. Change default shell of Radius configuration, from **gclish** to **/bin/bash**

- In WebUI/Gaia Portal:
Under "User Management -\> Authentication Servers -\> Radius Servers advance configuration"
- In CLI/gClish:
set aaa radius-servers default-shell /bin/bash
2. Now, when you log in with Radius users, you are directly in Expert mode with relevant user permissions.

3. Then, manually change the shell to **gclish** : relevant user permissions are also available.
