# sk176291 - "Self-signed certificate error" on adding Check Point certificate in code

## Symptoms

- The "Self-signed certificate error" appears on sending an API request when you use the HTTPS Inspection.

## Cause

When the user connected to the Harmony Connect Application with HTTPS inspection tries to perform API requests in the code, the Check Point gateway switches the CA certificate to the Check Point certificate. This causes the self-signed certificate chain error.
